Role Overview

The Finance Manager aims to be recognized as a trusted advisor to the business. The role involves effective communication with stakeholders, maintaining a robust control and compliance environment, and aligning with the EMEA finance management company's value proposition. The role partners with the business to maximize profits, supports innovation, and helps deliver an industry-leading, efficient finance organization.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and drive financial performance of the hotel, performing all finance activities within policy, regulatory, and contractual frameworks.
  • Partner with the General Manager and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Hotel Finance, Commercial, IT, Procurement, HR, Operations, Shared Service Centers, Owners, and Asset Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with the management agreement, reporting issues of non-compliance appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of complex financial data and create reports, forecasts, and projections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive issue prevention.
  • Leadership skills to develop and manage staff.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Effective presentation skills for all levels of management, hotels, and owners.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with quick adaptability to new programs.
Preferred Education
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
