We have an opening for a Finance Manager with a client based in Meydan. The role involves leading core finance functions and reports directly to the CEO. This role involves financial forecasting and reporting to support the company’s objectives, while ensuring sound financial practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
• Oversee financial risk management and secure appropriate funding.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), compliance with IFRS standards, auditing, internal controls, cost control, tax, and licensing.
• Prepare departmental budgets aligned with organizational goals, monitor spending, and ensure budget compliance.
• Prepare and interpret financial reports, budgets, statements, and commentaries.
• Analyze costs, pricing structures, sales performance, and compare actual outcomes against business plans.
• Identify financial trends and develop projections.
• Conduct internal audits to maintain strong financial oversight.
• Lead and manage the finance team, setting objectives and ensuring effective performance.
• Provide training on accounting standards and transaction booking.
• Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in financial documents and entries.
• Ensure departmental efficiency in meeting deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with legal and procedural financial regulations.
• Stay updated on VAT and other tax developments across relevant jurisdictions.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns for the group.
• Handle tax compliance matters internally and with the Federal Tax Authority.
• Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate deductions.
• Maintain adequate cash flow to cover employee compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant financial experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the UAE. Other candidates will not be considered.
• Proven experience in leading finance teams and managing financial reporting.
• Strong grasp of statutory laws and financial regulations.
• Experience in board-level reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Fluency in English is required.
