Finance Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. To monitor the completion and distribution of daily in-house reports.
  2. To reconcile and monitor all balance sheet accounts on a timely and accurate manner according to policy.
  3. To be responsible for the preparation of month end journals and closing entries in accordance to policies & procedures.
  4. To be responsible for month-end deadlines and schedules.
  5. Preparation of differed income & SPA memberships on a monthly basis.
  6. Monitoring of all front office rebates.
  7. Checking of the daily operation package for completeness before routing to GM and Director of Finance.
  8. Checking of daily bank statements for abnormal items & prepare bank journals on a daily basis.
  9. Verify General Cashiers Daily Report and daily banking summary against the Bank Deposit slip to ensure amount banked is correct.
  10. Verify cash deposits, payroll, and cash clearing accounts to avoid discrepancies.
  11. Supervision of assigned Finance sections, ensuring timely submission of all related reports and compliance to all policy & procedures.
  12. Cover secretarial duties as & when necessary.
  13. Assist in General Cashier, Income Audit, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Cost Control and Accounts Payable functions as required.
  14. To assist the General Cashier in performing surprise float counts.
  15. Prepare outlet gratuity reconciliation and submit to paymaster for payment.

Educational Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management and/or Accounting

Familiarity with financial systems: OPERA, MICROS, ACCPAC, HYPERION, EXCEL.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role.
