We are seeking a technically sound and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead and manage financial operations aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. This role will oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, while driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and profitability across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial systems, a strong commercial mindset, and experience in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Reporting

• Lead month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Provide ad-hoc financial reports and models to support business decisions.
• Coordinate and manage the annual statutory audit process with external auditors.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop and lead short-term and long-term financial planning processes.
• Prepare business cases and financial models for growth initiatives and strategic projects.
• Evaluate business proposals considering commercial viability, regulatory impact, and ROI.

Cost Optimization and Profitability

• Conduct commercial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Support pricing strategy development and conduct inventory aging and cost analysis.
• Prepare clear and insightful financial presentations for senior management.

Taxation and Compliance

• Collaborate with internal tax teams to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Stay updated on GCC tax regulations and implement process improvements to maintain compliance.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Set clear KPIs and performance targets for team members aligned with company objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members to build skills, enhance performance, and foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, merchandising, and business leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Mandatory)
• CA Qualification (Mandatory)
• MBA from a reputed university (Preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager role in retail apparel or retail fahsion or retail sports industries.
• Proven track record in multi-country financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Experience in leading audits, implementing performance metrics, and process optimization.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP ECC and financial reporting systems.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and exposure to Power BI and Power Query.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead and manage teams with a performance-driven mindset.
