Finance Manager
Job description
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Perform feasibility studies from scratch without end-user input
- Develop financial forecasts and budgets based on strategic goals and historical data.
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and manage all tax activities, including compliance with UAE tax regulations
3. Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
4. Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior management in decision-making processes.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies.
5. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as operations, sales, and marketing) to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure staff training and development to enhance capabilities and performance.
