Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Manager with strong experience in the aviation industry. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA or CA, with at least 5 years of professional experience in the UAE, and a proven track record of managing finance operations, leading finance teams, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments. The role demands strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to managing cash flow and supporting uninterrupted flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Supervision

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day finance operations, including vendor payments, bank transactions, Receivables and Cashflow.

  • Supervise and guide the finance team to ensure timely execution of financial tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and statutory requirements.

Receivables & Payables Management

  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure timely follow-ups with clients for collections.

  • Prepare and submit daily reports on receivables, payables, and bank balances to management.

  • Identify and mitigate potential delays or discrepancies in payments or receipts.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Manage daily cash flow and forecast short and long-term liquidity requirements.

  • Optimize cash and banking operations to ensure availability of funds for operations.

  • Liaise with banks for transactions, facilities, and treasury functions.

Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless workflows and alignment with financial planning.

  • Support uninterrupted flight operations by ensuring timely processing of vendor payments and resource availability.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local UAE regulations, VAT laws, and industry-specific financial regulations.

  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies during financial audits or inspections.

  • Develop and maintain internal financial policies and procedures.


Requirements

  • Professional qualification: ACCA / CA

  • Minimum 5 years of finance experience in the UAE, preferably within the aviation sector

  • Proven experience in team management and cross-functional coordination

  • Strong command of financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
