Job description

A well established and successful trade and manufacturing business in Dubai is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support the continued growth of the business. This is a hands on leadership role suited to a commercially minded finance professional with strong Gulf experience, audit expertise and banking relationships, who is confident managing a finance team and working closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a finance team of 7+ employees, ensuring effective performance and development.
• Oversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Manage and successfully close annual audits, working closely with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines and financing arrangements to support the business.
• Provide senior management with accurate financial analysis, reporting and commercial insight.
• Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and governance across the business.
• Support the commercial operations of the trading and manufacturing divisions.

The Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of overall finance experience within the Gulf region, including significant UAE experience.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or leading a small team of Trade Accountants.
• Finance exposure from within trading or manufacturing businesses.
• Strong track record in audit management and closing annual audits.
• Demonstrable experience negotiating with banks and securing banking facilities and credit lines.
• Chartered Accountant or similar qualification is a distinct advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness, leadership skills and the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders, auditors and banking partners.
