Job summary

Curtin University Dubai invites applications for a teaching track role in Finance. The candidate will deliver lectures, run tutorials and seminars, and lead assessments while mentoring students and coordinating internships. A strong research agenda and industry partnerships are expected.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Finance or related field with at least five years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience, and familiarity with AACSB accreditation requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD in Finance or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence and effectiveness.
• Experience with Australian, UK, or similar internationally recognized academic frameworks (highly desirable).
• Evidence of contributing to AACSB accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars in finance-related subject areas.
• Administer and assess examinations, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to support student learning.
• Maintain regular consultation hours and provide academic guidance and mentoring.
• Coordinate internships, industry placements, and experiential learning activities.
• Maintain an active research and scholarly agenda relevant to the discipline.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with industry and community organizations.
