Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Operations Manager in Dubai to oversee daily accounting, treasury, and controllership for the freight forwarding business. You will lead AR/AP, GL, and bank reconciliations while ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost control.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, ERP proficiency, and a proven ability to drive profitability through strong internal controls and cross-functional collaboration with sales and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA).
• 5-8 years of finance experience, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries.
• 2-3 years of supervisory or people-management experience
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, job costing, and profitability analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting.
• System proficiency including SAP Success Factors, CargoWise or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Review freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and logistics transactions for accounting accuracy.
• Monitor monthly closing activities and ensure adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Prepare monthly management reports including revenue and gross profit analysis and KPI dashboards.
