Job summary

Abu Dhabi Aviation Group is seeking a senior finance leader in the UAE to oversee end-to-end finance functions, including receivables and payables, payroll, month-end close, FP&A, and governance. You will partner with operations and commercial teams to drive profitability and strategic initiatives, while ensuring data accuracy and compliance across multi-entity structures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role within aviation, aerospace, MRO, engineering, transportation, logistics, or other asset-intensive industries.
• Proven experience managing finance business partnering and performance management functions in operationally intensive environments.
• Strong exposure to aviation operations, MRO activities, long-term service agreements, or asset-heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Experience operating within matrix organizations.
• Experience working within multi-entity, group, or matrix organizational structures.
• Demonstrated track record in financial planning, operational performance improvement, transformation, and governance.
• Experience supporting strategic investments, operational optimization initiatives, and business transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receivables, invoicing, collections, and receivables management to ensure accuracy and timely cash collection.
• Lead end-to-end accounts payable with governance over invoices, approvals, and vendor balances.
• Oversee payroll activities and ensure reconciliations and reporting are maintained.
• Lead monthly and annual financial close, ensuring integrity of records and intercompany transactions.
• Lead FP&A and budgeting, monitor revenue, costs, margins, risks, and KPIs.
• Oversee cash flow and working capital management to optimize liquidity.
• Maintain financial controls and governance; support audits and remediation actions.
• Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide financial insight on contracts, pricing, profitability, and business initiatives.
• Drive systems, data governance, and process improvements across finance operations.
• Act as main finance interface with Group Finance, auditors, and key stakeholders.
