GlaxoSmithKline is seeking an Intern Finance Associate for UAE nationals, based on-site in Dubai. You will support financial accounting, distributor finance activities, and month-end close processes in a multinational environment, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with GSK standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities; able to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and prepare accrual journals.
• Maintain financial records and entity accounts per policy.
• Assist distributor accounting across Gulf markets.
• Coordinate purchase-to-pay activities and vendor setup.
• Review expense claims and ensure policy alignment.
• Support PO management and three-way matching.
• Validate distributor debit notes and supplier payments.
• Prepare distributor account statements and reconcile them.
• Resolve outstanding financial queries with distributors.
• Monitor payments and clear aging balances.
