Al-Futtaim is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support financial planning, analysis, and performance management within the Financial Services division for Hertz and Moov in Dubai. You will partner with operations to improve revenue, optimize fleet performance, and strengthen financial results.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and automation, with exposure to SAP, Power BI, and BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Operations Management to improve revenue, margins, cost efficiency, and fleet performance across rental, leasing, and subscription businesses.
• Support financial evaluation of fleet and non-fleet CAPEX investments.
• Manage Profit Center and Cost Center reporting while providing recommendations to improve cost and margin performance.
• Participate in business reviews by analyzing assumptions, challenging forecasts, and providing financial insights for growth initiatives.
• Monitor OPEX, fleet-related costs, and manpower expenses, including reviewing purchase requisitions.
• Analyze fleet utilization and identify opportunities to optimize vehicle segments, sales channels, products, seasonality, revenue yield, idle fleet costs, maintenance cycles, and vehicle sales lead times.
• Develop and monitor commercial KPIs through dashboards and reports, highlighting gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and support cash planning with Group Treasury.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packs and presentations for reviews.
• Improve and automate management reporting using Power BI and BI tools.
• Prepare ad hoc FP&A reports and models as required.
• Support development of financial planning tools for leasing, rental, and subscription businesses.
• Coordinate financial planning inputs and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly/ads reporting for leasing, rental, and subscription operations.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and support audit recommendations.

Job Overview

Al-Futtaim is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support financial planning, analysis, commercial decision-making, and performance management within the Financial Services division supporting Hertz and Moov.

The role works closely with operational and business teams to improve revenue, manage costs, optimize fleet performance, and strengthen overall financial results. The successful candidate will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, business analysis, process improvements, automation, and financial systems development.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

• Partner with Operations Management to identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, cost efficiency, and fleet performance across rental, leasing, and subscription businesses.
• Support financial evaluation of fleet and non-fleet CAPEX investments.
• Manage Profit Center and Cost Center reporting while providing recommendations to improve cost and margin performance.
• Participate in business reviews by analyzing assumptions, challenging forecasts, and providing financial insights for growth initiatives.
• Monitor OPEX, fleet-related costs, and manpower expenses, including reviewing and assessing purchase requisitions.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting

• Coordinate quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and support cash planning and fund transfers in coordination with Group Treasury.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packs and presentations for Business Review Meetings and Finance Review Meetings.
• Improve and automate management reporting using Power BI, business intelligence platforms, and dashboard solutions.
• Prepare ad hoc FP&A reports, financial models, and business analysis as required.
• Support the development, testing, and implementation of financial planning tools for leasing, rental, and subscription businesses.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Coordinate financial planning inputs from various business functions to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Prepare monthly financial packs for relevant entities and business divisions.
• Conduct mid-month forecasting and performance reviews when required.
• Maintain group financial planning, reporting, and analysis tools, including budgets, forecasts, flash reports, strategic plans, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze variances between actual financial performance and budgets or forecasts and explain key revenue, cost, and margin drivers.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting for leasing, rental, and subscription operations.

Process Improvement, Systems & Automation

• Strengthen internal financial controls and support implementation of internal audit recommendations.
• Work with Risk and Operations teams to improve finance processes and controls.
• Develop and customize SAP and BI reports according to business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, BI, and automation technologies to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency.
• Support system development activities, including documentation, validation, testing, and access management.
• Represent the Finance function during system testing and implementation cycles.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial business partnering, or a similar finance role within a large multinational or diversified organization.
• Experience in the leasing and rental sector is highly relevant.
• Knowledge of automotive, mobility, financial services, or other transaction-intensive industries will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of commercial, operational, and financial performance drivers.
