A high-growth, independently owned wealth management firm is seeking a commercially minded Finance Director to join its leadership team. This is a strategic position designed for a qualified accountant who wants to drive financial operations, support business expansion across multiple jurisdictions, and grow into a future CFO position in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Role

• Oversee internal finance operations (reporting, payments, cash flow, reconciliations)
• Liaise with third-party accountants and auditors on statutory accounts and compliance
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling to support growth initiatives
• Produce management accounts and board-ready performance reports
• Support M&A initiatives, international structuring, and regulatory projects
• Contribute to building scalable financial systems and controls
• Collaborate directly with founders and senior management on commercial strategy

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 5-10 years of experience in finance roles, ideally in scale-up or financial services environments
• Strong technical reporting and forecasting skills; audit coordination experience preferred
• Proficient with accounting systems (e.g., Xero) and financial modeling
• Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and hands-on with strategic mindset
