Venture Search are proud to be representing a financial services firm based in Dubai who are seeking a Finance Director to lead its finance function. This senior role is responsible for financial strategy, planning, and reporting, while providing clear insights to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a hands-on approach to managing the firm’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s overall finance function, ensuring strong financial governance and strategic oversight

• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes • Oversee the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reporting

• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and corporate governance standards • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders to support statutory and regulatory requirements

• Provide strategic financial input to senior leadership and support decision-making across the business

• Monitor and manage capital adequacy, liquidity, and financial risk in line with business needs • Drive process improvements, cost controls, and operational efficiency across the finance function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)

• Recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial leadership roles within financial services (essential)

• Proven ability to manage a finance team and work closely with executive stakeholders

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
