A leading IT service provider company in the UAE is looking to hire Finance Department Officer role an opportunity for talented Emirati professionals to join a dynamic finance team dedicated to ensuring fiscal responsibility transparency and performance excellence. The successful candidate will work on comprehensive financial tasks including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and internal auditing while contributing to strategic decision-making aligned with national economic development goals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Assist in the preparation consolidation and review of the annual budget.

    • Develop financial forecasts and variance analyses to support strategic planning.

  • Reporting & Compliance:

    • Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.

    • Ensure compliance with government regulations internal policies and statutory requirements.

  • Accounting & Financial Operations:

    • Oversee general ledger entries account reconciliations and monitor cash flow operations.

    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support financial audits.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance financial efficiency.

    • Use advanced software and financial tools to streamline reporting activities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with various departments senior management and government bodies to deliver clear and relevant financial information.

    • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives that reinforce the financial department s objectives.


Requirements
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (Master s degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus).

  • Professional Experience:

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance role preferably within a government or large corporate setting.

    • Experience working in a structured regulatory environment that values accountability and transparency.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

    • Strong analytical quantitative and data interpretation skills.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.

    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and culturally diverse environment.
