- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Finance Controlling, FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Finance Transformation.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on OneStream experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely management reporting and performance analysis.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Challenge assumptions, identify risks/opportunities, and advise leadership.
- Support month-, quarter-, and year-end closing activities.
- Act as OneStream SME to optimize consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead enhancements and automation initiatives for finance processes.
- Maintain governance, controls and data quality across the platform.
- Coach finance users and document best practices.

The OneStream Team operates within Group Control and is responsible for the continuous development, optimization, and governance of the global OneStream platform. The platform plays a critical role in financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across the Damen organization.
As Damen continues its finance transformation journey, the OneStream environment is becoming an increasingly important enabler of standardized processes, high-quality data, and efficient decision-making.
As a Finance Controller with deep OneStream expertise, you will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, governance, and performance management across the organization. You will act as a trusted business partner to Finance leadership and play a key role in supporting Damen's finance transformation journey. This role combines strong financial controlling capabilities with advanced OneStream knowledge to improve decision‑making, reporting quality, data governance, and operational efficiency across the group. The role requires a professional who can engage confidently with senior stakeholders, challenge existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business requirements into scalable financial solutions. The position serves as the bridge between Finance, Business, IT, and external partners, ensuring that financial processes and systems support the strategic objectives of the organization. Based on the current OneStream Consultant role responsibilities and focus on finance transformation, stakeholder management, governance, reporting, forecasting, and consolidation.
- Own and support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes

- Act as the subject matter expert for OneStream across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement of consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Translate business requirements into effective OneStream solutions
- Lead enhancements, automation initiatives, and process optimization projects
- Ensure the platform continues to meet evolving business needs
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, Data & Analytics, and external partners
- Lead workshops and requirement‑gathering sessions with business stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive adoption of new processes and solutions
- Support finance transformation initiatives and standardization efforts across the group
- Advise management on best practices, governance, and future roadmap opportunities
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance standards
- Support audits and compliance requirements related to financial systems and reporting
- Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and consistency across the organization
- Review financial processes and recommend improvements to strengthen controls
- Support and mentor finance users and OneStream Operations Specialists
- Develop documentation, training materials, and best‑practice guidance
- Promote continuous learning and adoption of financial reporting standards and tools
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Finance Controlling, FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Finance Transformation
- Strong experience with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidation
