Job summary

Black & Grey HR is hiring a Financial Controller for a diversified UAE holding company. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow and internal controls while supporting strategic decisions across multiple units.

The role reports to the Finance Director and focuses on strengthening governance and efficiency, mentoring the finance team and partnering with business leaders to drive performance and value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Professional qualification such as CA ACCA CPA or CIMA preferred.
• 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting and controls.
• Experience within diversified groups, holding companies, or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced financial modeling/reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and internal policies.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and treasury operations.
• Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and enhance financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Support business units with financial analysis and decision-making.

The role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting budgeting compliance cash flow management and internal controls while supporting strategic business decisions across multiple business units. The Financial Controller will report directly to the Finance Director and play a key role in strengthening financial governance and operational efficiency.
