Job summary

OneBullEx is seeking a Mandarin-fluent Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager to own exchange fund accounting, reconcile multi-entity ledgers and strengthen internal controls across fiat and crypto frameworks.

You will bridge Finance, Product and Engineering, optimizing automated reconciliations and sub-ledgers while ensuring accurate financial reporting and treasury integrity across currencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/ACCA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of core accounting/finance experience within the crypto exchange or Web3 space.
• Mandarin fluency required (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with on-chain data and block explorers for treasury tracking and auditing.
• Ability to translate crypto trading products into accounting specifications for tech teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Accounting: manage full-cycle accounting across multiple entities, fiat and crypto accounts.
• Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes in line with reporting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports and variance analysis.
• Act as strategic link between Finance, Product and Engineering.
• Design, test and optimize automated reconciliation engines and sub-ledgers.
• Monitor wallet balances, bank accounts, and internal token ledgers daily.
• Establish and enforce strong internal controls around digital assets and treasury operations.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Business teams for actionable insights.

Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager

As we scale our operations globally, we are looking for a sharp, hands-on, Mandarin-fluent Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager to take ownership of our exchange fund accounting, streamline our financial reconciliation systems, and build robust internal controls across multi-entity and multi-currency frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Accounting: Manage full-cycle accounting and financial operations across multiple legal entities, supporting both fiat and multi-cryptocurrency accounts.

Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes in compliance with reporting standards.

Financial Analysis: Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports; perform variance analysis to track operational performance and highlight financial discrepancies.

Product & Systems Integration

Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as the strategic link between Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, translating complex trading products into clear accounting logic and system configurations.

Automation & Sub-Ledger Systems: Participate in designing, testing, and optimizing automated financial reconciliation engines and accounting sub-ledgers.

Process Optimization: Continuously audit financial workflows to reduce manual intervention and automate cross-chain and fiat financial tracking.

Digital Asset & Treasury Management

Wallet & Ledger Oversight: Monitor and reconcile hot/cold wallet balances, bank accounts, and internal token ledgers daily.

On-Chain Reconciliation: Conduct daily on-chain reconciliation using block explorers (Etherscan, Tronscan, etc.) to investigate and resolve balance discrepancies immediately.

Internal Controls: Establish and enforce stringent internal controls and security protocols around digital asset management, wallet access, and treasury operations.

Business Partnering & Operational Governance

Strategic Insights: Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to produce actionable financial analysis, unit economics, and operational reporting.

Financial Standardizations: Standardize and manage corporate expense management, payroll processing, vendor payments, and capital allocation across all departments.

What We Are Looking For

Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to collaborate effectively with cross-regional stakeholders, partners, and internal R&D teams.

Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Active CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.

Industry Background: 3+ years of core accounting/finance experience within the crypto exchange or Web3 space.

On-Chain Literacy: Deep familiarity with on-chain data and block explorers (Etherscan, Tronscan, Solscan, etc.) for treasury tracking and transaction auditing.

Technical Acumen: Ability to translate crypto trading products (e.g., spot, futures, staking, earn) into functional technical specifications for R&D teams.

Core Finance Skills: Proven track record in multi-currency treasury management, consolidated financial reporting, and complex ledger reconciliation.

Tooling: Advanced Excel modeling skills alongside hands-on experience with modern ERP/financial software.

Bonus Points

Hands-on experience with multi-jurisdictional / overseas entity accounting and tax compliance.

Proven track record of building automated financial reconciliation pipelines or crypto sub-ledgers from the ground up.

Deep understanding of internal audit frameworks, proof of reserves (PoR), and custodian integrations in Web3.
