Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Toyota and Lexus B2B Finance team. This role is integral to our business, working closely with the brand FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team and other AFG (Al Futtaim Group) finance teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
What you will do
- Lead the budget and forecasting activities within the B2B (business to business) function, including preparing annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and inventory and accounts receivable forecasts.
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses for monthly reviews with B2B (business to business) management, including margin and expense analysis with commentary.
- Perform regular financial reviews and variance analysis to ensure business performance aligns with budgets and forecasts.
- Provide commercial support by assisting in preparing pricing proposals, reviewing volume rebate programs, and validating cost requirements.
- Conduct detailed annual reviews of extended warranty utilization models and ensure accurate accounting of warranty provisions.
- Work with the team to analyze products and provide management reporting dashboards.
- Oversee sales accounting and cash control, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Review and control indirect costs, ensuring accurate cross charges and site-wise allocations.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and support aged stock liquidation efforts.
- Review AR provision and facilitate timely submission of finance deal packs.
- Ensure compliance with finance SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and facilitate external or group internal audit reviews.
- Lead and supervise the finance team, providing training and support as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.
- Proven experience in a finance business partner role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and tools, including SAP.
