Job description

A leading organisation in Abu Dhabi is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its Finance Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to strategic decision-making and financial governance at a high level. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and performance across the organisation.

The Finance Business Partner will provide strategic financial advice and support to departmental and executive leadership. The role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, and control processes, ensuring alignment with international standards and organisational objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in influencing business decisions, managing financial risks, and supporting long-term financial sustainability.

The Role

  • Deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Oversee financial control processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure all financial reporting adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
  • Support liquidity management and ensure timely funding of investment and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and practices.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and value-driven performance across the finance function.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic (native level) and English (professional level).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
