Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a motivatedFinance role candidate in Sharjah, UAE. The successful applicant will assist with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, supporting monthly and annual reporting, and aiding in financial closes.

You will work with cross-functional teams to gather data and prepare presentations for management. We welcome fresh graduates or early-career professionals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates or early-career candidates in Finance.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• English proficiency; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and closing activities.
• Analyze financial results, trends, variances, costs, and business performance.
• Support preparation of management reports, dashboards, and financial presentations.
• Assist Finance teams with accounting, reconciliations, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Work with business and functional teams to collect and validate financial information.
• Support commercial and operational Finance activities, including profitability and cost analysis.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and Finance transformation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate financial data and documentation in line with policies and governance.
• Support compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and other Finance initiatives.

Depending on the assigned Finance function, responsibilities may include:

Candidate Profile

Preferred Qualifications

The following would be an advantage but are not mandatory:

• Internship or previous experience within Finance, Accounting, Audit, Banking, or a related field.
• Exposure to ERP or financial systems.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or accounting principles.
• Professional qualifications or progress toward qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CFA.
