Finance Assistant Tax

ITP Media Group, the region's leading media company, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers the opportunity to support a fast-paced multi-market finance operation and gain hands-on experience across UAE, KSA, and India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and filing VAT returns.
• Support the preparation of tax filings including VAT and other relevant tax returns across UAE, KSA, and India.
• Maintain accurate records of all tax payments and filings.
• Prepare supporting documentation for tax audits and inquiries.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and third-party stakeholders as needed.
• Respond to queries from tax authorities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for tax or financial audits.
• Provide support to other finance team members as required.
• Help reconcile discrepancies and investigate issues in financial transactions.
• Support additional finance and tax-related duties as assigned by management.
• Assist with India payables accounting and GST reconciliations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with tax filings and regional reporting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and with external partners.
• Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
