Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expenditure tracking for international offices.
- Prepare local government financial statements and budgets in compliance with IPSAS and other public sector standards.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations in both the UAE and host countries.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow, and disbursements to international locations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and support audit readiness.
- Provide tools, training, and oversight to local and international finance teams.
- Propose and implement strategies to improve financial efficiency and operations.
- Coordinate financial compliance and reporting using ERP/FMIS systems.
Qualifications:
Academic Degree:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Public Finance, International Finance, or Business
Certifications (at least one required):
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
- CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant)
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in finance or accounting roles
- At least 3 years in a senior or supervisory finance position, preferably within a government or international organization
- Proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, and cross-border financial operations
