Job summary

RAKBANK in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Finance Analyst to analyze financial data, perform reconciliations across systems, and support UAT for finance transformations. You will prepare reports and dashboards and drive automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, and Risk teams to strengthen governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance financial controls within a leading UAE banking institution.

Qualifications

• UAE National with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance operations, or financial controls.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Exposure to banking products, financial systems, or the financial services industry is preferred.
• Experience with finance transformation, process improvement, or automation initiatives is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and trends to support management reporting and decision-making.
• Perform and monitor reconciliations across multiple banking and finance systems.
• Support UAT for finance system enhancements and process changes.
• Assist in gathering business requirements and validating system changes.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management insights.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and Risk teams to maintain governance and compliance.
• Contribute to balance sheet substantiation, risk monitoring, and financial control activities.
