Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking an Assistant Financial Analyst – Supply Chain & Logistics for a 1-year fixed-term contract in Dubai. You will manage the accounting function, prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flows, and support audits to ensure accuracy and transparency of financials.

The role requires a Commerce graduate with CA Inter/ Semi qualification and 5–7 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and ERP skills and IFRS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must have analytical, numerical and research skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with IFRS and international accounting practice.
• Proficient Excel skills and ERP system exposure.
• Commerce graduate with CA Inter/ Semi qualification and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Exercise control over capital expenditures and asset capitalization.
• Analyze intercompany, head office expenses and overheads against the budget.
• Allocate common expenses to cost centers and maintain controls.
• Assist in budgets, business plans and forecasts with data collection and inputs.
• Ensure accruals for services and reflect in balance sheet schedules.
• Verify sales staff commissions per criteria and prepare management reports.
• Liaise with operations for forex needs and treasury reporting.
• Coordinate with banks for LC, guarantees as required.
• Prepare cash flow statements for current and upcoming months.
• Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Conduct periodic counts of fixed assets and inventory.
