Al Tayer Group is seeking an Assistant Financial Analyst for its Supply Chain & Logistics division in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing the accounting function in line with international standards and providing timely financial insights.

The ideal candidate will have a commerce degree with CA Inter/ Semi qualification, 5–7 years of accounting experience, strong IFRS knowledge, Excel prowess, and ERP exposure. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract in the UAE.

Qualifikationen

• Must have knowledge or experience with international accounting practice in computerized environments.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Understanding IFRS is required.
• Strong analytical, numerical and research abilities.
• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities, able to work under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Manage the accounting function in accordance with international standards.
• Analyze inter-company and head office expenses and compare to budgets with explanations.
• Allocate common expenses to cost centers and maintain control of accounts.
• Assist in budgets, business plans and forecasts with data collection and budgeting tools.
• Ensure accruals for services and reflect in balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare sales reports and ad hoc management reports.
• Coordinate forex requirements with operations and treasury.
• Liaise with banks for guarantees and letters of credit as needed.
• Prepare cash flow statements for current and upcoming months to avoid cash crunches.
• Support internal and external audits and implement improvement actions.
• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Conduct periodic counts of fixed assets and inventory.
