Job summary

Al Tayer Insignia seeks a Senior Finance Analyst for a 1-year contract to support management with budgets, forecasts, MIS and financial reporting. The role requires a CA qualification, IFRS knowledge, strong Excel and ERP exposure, and 4–5 years post-qualification experience to ensure timely closing and tax compliance.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to consolidate accounts, monitor cash flow, and provide insightful financial analysis under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA.
• 4 to 5 years post qualification experience.
• Knowledge/ experience in international accounting practice in a computerized environment.
• PC Literate with good Excel knowledge and exposure to ERP solutions.
• Familiar with IFRS.
• Ability to analyze financial issues.
• Analytical, numerical and research skills.
• Organizational and planning abilities under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and advisory to management, including budgets and MIS.
• Consolidate annual accounts and ensure timely audit.
• Exercise budgetary and asset controls as per procedures.
• Ensure tax compliance and timely returns.
• Ensure proper insurance cover on assets with corporate finance.
• Carry out inventory control and related activities (orders, L/Cs, aging, etc.).
• Manage credit limits, collections and MIS reporting.
• Monitor payments and internal controls aligned with approved terms.
• Ensure all entries are posted and accounts reconciled with bankers, debtors and creditors.
• Monitor cash flows and advise on shortfalls; ensure cash controls.
• Forecast FX requirements and communicate changes to HO Finance.
• Oversee monthly/annual closing per IFRS and reporting.
