Job description

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will be responsible for crafting and empowering best-in-class forecasting and strategy. You will be accountable for providing proactive and actionable insights through analysis of financial and commercial performance across the Middle East and Africa Region.

You will play an integral role in supporting the review of commercial performance, identification of risks and opportunities, and providing actionable insights during all our weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings. You will interact significantly with the commercial teams to monitor depletion performance and deliver accurate forecasting practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

  1. Be the key point of contact in the MEA Finance business performance team, working closely with senior leaders and commercial teams on forward-looking analysis, insights, and performance reporting versus strategies.
  2. Enhance data-driven decision-making by creating or improving reporting to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scope, setting a benchmark for the business.
  3. Provide strategic analysis and practical direction to maximize brand value (gross profit) aligned with overall strategy.
  4. Drive analytics and reviews of commercial forecasts against market and brand trends, challenging where necessary to ensure accuracy.
  5. Assist and support Annual Planning, Business Reviews, and QBRs.
  6. Demonstrate good judgment, managing details while maintaining a view of the bigger picture for solution alignment.
  7. Support business cycles: planning, budgeting, performance reviews, and assessment of risks & opportunities.
  8. Continuously identify risks and opportunities by analyzing industry trends to provide insights to the organization.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leading or supporting ad-hoc projects.
  • Becoming the subject matter expert for internal/external data systems, including training on reporting tools and solutions.
  • Supporting senior leadership in strategic decisions as part of AMEA Finance.
  • Driving the shift from intuitive to data-driven decision-making within the MEA team.
