Job summary

Together We Montessori in Dubai seeks an organized Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support monthly and annual reporting while handling general administrative tasks.

The role requires UAE VAT expertise, MS Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment with strict confidentiality. This position is on-site in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger entries; handle month-end and year-end closing.
• Process invoices, payments and expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, including timely filing and reporting.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring.
• Liaise with auditors, banks and government authorities.
• Keep proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Handle correspondence, filing and record-keeping.
