Job summary

Mintlayer's finance team in Abu Dhabi is building a robust financial platform to support growth in the UAE's digital asset landscape. The Finance and Accounting Lead owns month-end close, management accounts, and the reporting pack used by leadership and investors to steer decisions.

You will manage reconciliations, journal entries, vendor payments, and the AP ledger across crypto and fiat workflows, working with external auditors and tax advisors while maintaining accurate classifications and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance and accounting, preferably fintech or crypto.
• ACCA, CPA, or equivalent in progress or completed.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with UAE financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and the financial reporting pack for leadership review.
• Own the month-end close process, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries across all entities.
• Process vendor payments and maintain the AP ledger including crypto and fiat payment workflows.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain the accounting system and ensure accurate transaction classification.
• Support the Head of Accounts on board-level financial reporting and investor due diligence.
• Assist with payroll processing and coordinate contractor payment schedules.
