Job summary

A leading company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Finance Executive to manage payables and receivables. The role involves processing invoices, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. Candidates should have a commerce degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a medium to large organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years at the same level, preferably in a medium to large organization.
  • Experience in community management or facility management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Line Manager in payable and receivable functions.
  • Process supplier invoices for payments and prepare outstanding invoices.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and issue receipts/statements of accounts.

Job description

To work in Payables and Receivables sections and ensure the accuracy of all transactions made.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Line Manager in payable and receivable functions.
  2. Process supplier invoices for payments.
  3. Prepare a list of outstanding invoices for sending to respective departments.
  4. Process petty cash payments for Admin / PMD.
  5. Verify workings and calculations for PMD invoices and forward them to the Line Manager for processing.
  6. Prepare the FM report for management showing revenue vs expenditure by project.
  7. Answer supplier calls regarding payments.
  8. Prepare credit vouchers and get them approved by seniors.
  9. Release cheques to suppliers / customers after verification and approval from seniors.
  10. Prepare bank reconciliations for all banks.
  11. Issue receipts, statements of accounts, and call customers for outstanding dues.
  12. Issue reminder and final reminder letters, and collect documents for termination letters.
  13. Answer customer calls regarding outstanding dues and payments.
  14. Support fixed assets physical verification along with Admin staff.
  15. Perform any additional tasks assigned by seniors and department head.

Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, rules, and procedures related to Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in Commerce (B. Com). Desirable: Part or fully qualified CA, ACCA, CPA.
  • Certificate in receivables management.

Experience Requirement:

Skill Sets:

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
