We are currently looking for a Finacle Core Banking - General Ledger Techno-functional Consultant for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience working with Finacle Core Banking, with at least 3 years in the General Ledger module.
- Strong understanding of double-entry accounting, financial reporting, and banking processes.
- Experience in techno-functional roles, capable of both functional analysis and basic technical tasks (queries, report development, scripting, etc.).
- Familiarity with Finacle scripting, APIs, COBOL (if applicable), SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with GL mapping, reconciliation tools, and automated posting logic in Finacle.
- Exposure to end-of-day (EOD)/end-of-month (EOM) processes and accounting schedules.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional:
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Finacle Core Banking Finance stream.
- Implement, configure, and maintain GL module settings, Chart of Accounts, posting rules, and automated entries.
- Gather and document business requirements, finalize deliverables, and conduct gap analysis.
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand existing processes and recommend configurations.
- Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials.
- Support SIT/UAT and assist users with process validation.
- Technical:
- Good understanding of Finacle Product Architecture & Customization layers.
- Experience with Finacle customization flow, including custom menus, reports, MRT & Jasper, batch jobs, and debugging.
- Strong experience with Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions).
- Experience in Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and report designing.
- Good understanding of Finacle Integrator; feasible enhancements are a plus.
