Job description

Role: Senior Test Engineer

Key Skills: Finacle 11.x, Selenium Automation, API Testing

Description:

The candidate should have experience with Core Banking Finacle, including automation testing with Selenium. Experience in testing loans within the Finacle application, especially Islamic banking loans and finance, is required.

The role involves creating end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright or Selenium, preferably with a BDD approach. The candidate should be strong in script creation, analysis, and have a good understanding of continuous integration for deployment.

Experience working on Agile/SCRUM projects is necessary. Responsibilities include reviewing test requirements, creating realistic estimates, managing test cycles, and performing test planning and design for both functional and non-functional automation, including messaging queues and database checks.

The candidate will report QA and automation status to stakeholders, including risks, issues, and mitigation plans, and produce test completion reports at the end of cycles. Basic banking knowledge to validate accounting entries is also required.
