Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: technical diploma or vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in telecom maintenance, preferably in oil and gas.
• Experience with routine and corrective maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on telecom equipment.
• Respond to work orders and follow engineer directives promptly.
• Obtain permits and certificates per SOPs and HSE rules.
• Inspect telecom installations across sites and ensure equipment calibration.
• Monitor network performance using NMS and escalate issues to engineers.
• Install new equipment per plans and supervise external contractors.
• Collaborate with other disciplines for troubleshooting and repair.
• Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., Etisalat) for maintenance tasks.
• Update maintenance records and redline as-built drawings in systems.
• Perform repair and testing of telecom modules in workshop.
