Field Technician

At Evogreen we’re on a mission to create a more sustainable world through innovation and responsible growth. We are looking for an experienced Field Technician to help scale our impact and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•

Conduct on-site and field inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of mobile and stationary equipment.

•

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on shredders, crushers, wheel loaders, boom loaders, and forklifts.

•

Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

•

Record and report detailed service logs, checklists, and repair history in coordination with maintenance planning.

•

Respond quickly to breakdown calls during operations and perform necessary corrective actions.

•

Replace worn parts and conduct welding, fabrication, or alignment tasks when necessary.

•

Work with OEM manuals and diagnostic tools to maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

•

Ensure compliance with HSE protocols during all repair and maintenance work.

•

Support in machine overhauls and commissioning activities when new equipment is introduced.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.

•

5+ years of experience in maintenance of heavy machinery such as crushers, shredders, forklifts, and earth-moving equipment.

•

Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, gearboxes, conveyors, and mobile plant operations.

•

Experience with diagnostic software or tools for fault finding.

•

Welding, fabrication, or machining skills are a strong advantage.

•

Familiarity with waste processing, mining, or construction industries is preferred.

•

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

•

UAE driving license is preferred (for field mobility).

Working Conditions

•

Exposure to outdoor and plant environments with dust, heat, noise, and mechanical hazards.

•

Shift work or on-call support may be required based on operational emergencies.

•

PPE and safety procedures must be followed strictly.
