Job summary

NMDC Dredging & Marine in Abu Dhabi is seeking a junior survey assistant to support field surveying tasks, collect measurements, and document findings while adhering to safety protocols.

You will assist mobilisation, calibration, operation and maintenance of survey equipment, and coordinate with surveyors to report issues to the Chief/Project Surveyor.

This role offers hands-on experience in marine surveying within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate with discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field surveying tasks, including measurements, data collection, and documenting findings.
• Support the survey team in mobilisation, equipment calibration, and on-site operations.
• Coordinate with surveyors and report any issues affecting survey activities to the Chief/Project Surveyor.
• Assist in installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of survey equipment and software.
• Conduct on-site safety checks and actively participate in safety programs.
• Maintain accurate records of on-field studies, dimensions, and project progress.
