Field Support Engineer - Heavy Equipment
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and rectifying issues in the assigned territory in collaboration with customers.
- Preparing failure information reports.
- Communicating resolutions of field issues to headquarters.
- Conducting customer visits as necessary.
- Promoting spare parts and service sales solutions.
- Supporting the machine sales department during product launches, tender document preparation, and other sales activities.
- Serving as a technical expert and single point of contact for products in the assigned territory.
- Collecting, consolidating, and communicating customer requirements for future product development.
- Processing warranty claims within the territory.
- Providing technical training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Vehicle, Material, Electrical).
- Strong knowledge and experience in mining applications and equipment, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Deep technical understanding of earth-moving, construction, and mining equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in computer skills and internet-based applications.
