Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced Field Specialist for ESP commissioning in the UAE. You will execute ESP and surface equipment operations in the field, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and client regulations across sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical preferred) and 5+ years in ESP systems, including commissioning, startup and performance verification. Strong communication and incident-reporting abilities are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in ESP systems with at least 3 years in a Commissioning Engineer role.
• Proven experience in ESP commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and system performance verification.
• Strong knowledge of well surveillance, monitoring and optimization activities.
• Understanding ESP system design principles, equipment selection, and application engineering is preferred.
• Experience with various VSD platforms (Toshiba, Triol, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with customers and teams.
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Installing and running ESP equipment, including inspecting, modifying and repairing pumps, motors, cables and downhole equipment at the contractor’s base, making surface connections and operating the ESP to the Company’s satisfaction.
• Carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP equipment.
• Provide expertise for troubleshooting, safety precautions and related matters.
• Repairing breakdowns and performing maintenance of ESP equipment.
• Installing, operating and maintaining Y-tool and VSD systems.

As an Artificial Lift Systems – Field Specialist you will be executing the operations of ESP equipment and surface equipment in the field, complying with all the integrity/quality and safety standards, as well as compliance with the regulations of the different clients in all fields.

As an Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Field Specialist, you'll participate in all technical events, including supporting the BH contract engineering team.

As an Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, running of ESP Equipment including inspecting, modifying and repair of pumps, motors, cables and relevant down hole equipment at Contractor’s base, making connections at surface and operating the ESP equipment to the satisfaction of the Company.
• Carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP Equipment.
• Prevising of expertise for trouble shooting, safety precautions and related matters.
• Repairing of any breakdown and maintenance of the ESP Equipment.
• Installing, operating and maintaining of Y-tool and VSD system.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Have a minimum 5 years of experience in Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems, with at least 3 years of experience in a Commissioning Engineer role.
• Proven experience in ESP commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system performance verification.
• Have a strong knowledge and hands-on experience in well surveillance, monitoring and well optimization activities.
• Understanding of ESP system design principles, equipment selection, and application engineering is preferred.
• Experience working with various Variable Speed Drive (VSD) platforms is preferred, including:
• Advantage
• Toshiba
• Triol
• Able to analyze system performance, diagnose operational issues, and recommend optimization solutions.
• Have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, field personnel and multidisciplinary teams.
• Have a strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE standards, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Able to work independently in field environments and manage multiple commissioning activities simultaneously.
