Job summary

Rapiscan Systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service X-ray and Trace systems across UAE/MEA. You will diagnose, repair and maintain detection equipment, and generate technical reports from sites with minimal supervision.

The role requires 3–4 years of field service experience in the x-ray industry, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and wiring diagrams. On-site work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–4 years in field service environment; x-ray industry desired.
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with test equipment (DVM) and high voltage/x-ray equipment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning and service support of Rapiscan X-ray and Trace systems in UAE/MEA.
• Perform site surveys prior to installations and provide professional site reports.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and fault-find on detection systems and sub-systems; repair/maintenance as needed.
• Submit service reports and non-conformance reports promptly.
• Provide feedback to Engineering, PLM and QA for continuous improvement.
• Attend technical meetings and support ad-hoc departmental projects.
