Qualifications
- Diploma (or equivalent) in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Field.
- Minimum 6 months of working experience / internship in the HVAC industry / field.
- A valid driving license is a plus.
Knowledge of
- Principles and practices of HVAC equipment maintenance and repair inline with industry practices & manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Hazard & Safety practices and procedures used in installing, repairing & maintaining HVAC equipment and MSDS sheets.
- Tools utilization & management.
- Preparation & filling of inspection reports / Technical reports.
- Quality management practices as per company standards & other applicable standards.
- Good English skills in speaking, writing, reading & listening.
- Communication & interpersonal skills, team player & customer-oriented.
- Basic knowledge in Metal sheets, electrical, carpentry & Building Automation controls.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks, understanding & following oral and written instructions.
- Complete daily tasks and timesheets efficiently, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Keep customers informed about task progress and site issues, and share suggestions for improvements.
- Fill out Job Completion Certificates / Job Cards / EH&S site surveys.
- Inspect air-conditioning units for efficient operation, diagnose malfunctions, and recommend solutions.
- Estimate labor hours & materials required.
- Assist in repairing and replacing damaged parts.
- Perform cleaning and checks on coils, blowers, motors, and belts.
- Work closely with colleagues as part of a team.
- Recognize safety hazards and implement controls to ensure safety.
- Identify situations requiring escalation or additional support.
- Manage tools, machinery, and inventory.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Identify potential risks and hazards associated with work tasks.
- Attend regular EH&S / Technical trainings and meetings.
Minimum Product Knowledge
- DX & Airside Equipment.
- Reciprocating chillers.
