Knowledge of
- Principles and practices of HVAC equipment maintenance and repair inline with industry practices & manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Hazard & Safety practices and procedures used in installing, repairing & maintaining HVAC equipment and MSDS sheets.
- Overall understanding & practices of tools utilization & management.
- Preparation & filling of inspection reports / Technical reports.
- Overall understanding & complying with quality management practices as per company standards & any other applicable quality standards.
- Good English knowledge in speaking, writing, reading & listening.
- Communication & inter-personal skills, team player & customer-oriented.
- Basic understanding & knowledge in Metal sheets, electrical, carpentry & Building Automation controls.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks (Understand & follow oral and written directions).
- Attend & complete assigned tasks within the designated time to ensure quality services & customer satisfaction.
- Leave site clean & neat.
- Keep customer informed with the task nature & progress upon site arrival & prior to leaving work site.
- Share outstanding issues & suggested enhancements / recommendations.
- Fill up Job Completion Certificate / Job Card / EH&S site surveys.
- Inspect air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation & diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and make recommendations.
- Make estimates of labor hours & materials required.
- Assist in repairing and replacing damaged parts.
- Cleans coils, blowers, checks motors, and belt tensions.
- Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated team.
- Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work.
- Identify situations that require escalation or elevation to Supervisor or Manager for guidance or need to request additional support.
- Manage & organize machinery tools pickup, delivery, usage & inventory as applicable.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Recognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with performing all work-related duties safely.
- Attend regular (EH&S / Technical) Trainings & meetings.
Minimum Product Knowledge
- DX & Airside Equipment.
- Reciprocating chillers.

Qualifications
- Diploma (or equivalent) in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Field.
- Minimum 6 months of working experience / internship in the HVAC industry / field.
- A valid driving license is a plus.
