Job summary

NOV is seeking a Service Technician in Abu Dhabi to perform aftermarket service activities for Truckline systems, powerpacks, and winches. The role includes inspection, dismantling, troubleshooting, refurbishment, testing, and field service to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Candidate will diagnose problems, identify repair needs, document findings, and support corrective actions while following approved procedures and HSE policies. Physical readiness for workshop work is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Awareness of workshop environments and safety practices.
• Physically fit for workshop-based work with crane operation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, dismantle, assess, and document customer equipment like Truckline systems and winches.
• Diagnose mechanical/hydraulic faults and perform repairs per procedures and drawings.
• Reassemble, test, commission, and provide technical input for service recommendations.
• Prepare inspection reports, test records, and ensure traceability.
