Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Field Service Engineer to visit sites, assess service requirements and supervise technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and quality outcomes.

You will communicate with customers, prepare technical and commercial quotations, and coordinate with workshops and suppliers to mobilize resources for each job. A UAE driving license is advantageous and 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering field is mandatory.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in field service, mechanical equipment maintenance, or technical sales is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to visit sites and supervise field activities.
• A valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess service requirements, identify technical issues and determine the scope of work.
• Supervise field service activities and lead technicians to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements, provide progress updates and address service-related queries.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on enquiries, site assessments and project requirements.
• Follow up on submitted quotations, customer enquiries and ongoing service work.
• Coordinate with the workshop, suppliers and internal teams to arrange the manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for each job.
• Prepare site assessment reports, service records and job completion documentation.
