Overview
A Service Engineer for laser hair removal devices and aesthetics installs, maintains, and repairs laser equipment used in aesthetic procedures. They are responsible for ensuring the equipment is functioning correctly and safely, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to technicians and clients. Their work involves both preventative maintenance and responding to emergency repairs.
Responsibilities
- Installation and Setup: Unpacking, assembling, and setting up laser hair removal devices according to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Preventative Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance checks, cleaning, and calibration of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing technical issues with laser equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and software malfunctions.
- Technical Support: Providing technical guidance and support to laser technicians and clients on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and protocols for laser equipment operation and maintenance.
- Training: May be involved in training technicians on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- Inventory Management: May be responsible for managing spare parts inventory and ordering replacements as needed.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of laser technology, electrical and mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to work with tools and equipment, disassemble and reassemble complex machinery.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
