Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with senior service engineer and other service team members at customer site to:
2. perform equipment and system maintenance as per maintenance procedures,
3. examine equipment and system faults,
4. repair onsite and/or unmount for repair/mount after repair,
5. perform equipment and system measurements and tests.
6. administer and support both physical and virtual servers, as well as network components including routers, switches, and firewalls.
7. Create service reports following maintenance or repair activities.

2. Support project engineer and other project team members at customer site to:

1. assess, survey and prepare sites for installation,
2. install, equip, connect and commission equipment and system components,
3. lay/install, test and assess cables and setting connectors on cables (cables being: electrical, RF/coax, optical fiber, signaling/Ethernet),
4. mount, unmount, check and test of antennas and equipment at heights (e.g. antenna towers, masts, buildings),
5. prepare, install, verify and document of labels/labeling in systems,
6. perform equipment and system measurements and tests for customer acceptance,
7. do system configuration and perform system performance test according to configuration and test documentation,
8. attend and contribute at internal and customer project meetings (technical and administrative).

3. Support system engineer and other engineering and sales team members to:

1. assess, survey and prepare sites for installation incl. compiling of site survey reports;
2. develop system configuration and system performance tests according to customer requirements,
3. compile, review and verify system design, configuration and test documents,
4. prepare and conduct customer demo setups,
5. prepare, test and maintain customer presentation and reference systems,
6. attend and contribute at customer sales presentations and online meetings (technical).

4. Attend in Lab/Warehouse repair/maintenance support for defective equipment.
