Full job description
- Developing and implementing the annual marketing and communication plan for the library in coordination with relevant organizational units.
- Planning and organizing marketing campaigns for all services, events, and activities of the library in collaboration with the Events and Activities Department.
- Preparing and implementing the strategic partnerships plan that supports the library's vision with local, regional, and international entities, in coordination with relevant organizational units.
- Following up on the execution of contracts, agreements, and memorandums of understanding with strategic partners and local, regional, and international organizations aimed at spreading knowledge and educating communities, in coordination with the Legal Affairs Office and concerned units within the library.
- Designing and preparing promotional materials for the library’s services and events, ensuring compliance with approved standards and specifications.
- Applying corporate identity standards across all internal and external marketing and communication outputs.
- Providing technical support for media programs and activities in cooperation with relevant organizational units.
- Organizing community and cultural events and activities, as well as various communication-related initiatives locally and internationally.
- Developing and preparing all marketing materials, including visual, audio, and written content, and following up on the implementation of marketing and communication plans in coordination with the department team.
- Participating in supporting sponsorship and funding programs—both in-kind and financial—for the library in collaboration with the department team.
- Ensuring the application of website quality standards in cooperation with the department team.
- Overseeing the update of the library’s website and social media content.
- Performing any other tasks or responsibilities related to the nature of the department’s work as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or an equivalent field from an accredited university.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing and communication activities.
