Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Risk Engineer to perform field visits and risk assessments across industrial sites in the UAE and Middle East. You will identify hazards, evaluate exposures, and provide practical recommendations to improve risk management at customer locations.

The role requires 2–3 years of UAE experience in risk engineering, strong reporting skills, and familiarity with NFPA and FM Global standards. Travel across the UAE and potentially the Middle East is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of UAE experience in risk engineering, loss prevention, risk assessment or related fields.
• Experience conducting industrial/site risk surveys and inspections.
• Familiarity with NFPA and FM Global loss prevention standards.
• Formal loss prevention training or exposure to industry standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site loss prevention and risk assessment surveys at industrial and commercial locations.
• Identify physical and human-element hazards including fire and natural catastrophe exposures.
• Organize and schedule risk assessment and loss prevention surveys.
• Assess and quantify property damage and business interruption exposures.
• Review maintenance, inspection, and testing procedures on-site.
• Discuss hazards and business impacts with customers and site management.
• Develop practical risk improvement recommendations, focusing on human-element controls and low-cost physical improvements.
• Follow up with customers to support implementation of risk measures.
• Review changes and proposed projects to ensure loss prevention at design stage.
• Prepare accurate Loss Prevention Reports detailing site exposures, findings, and recommendations.
• Liaise with underwriting to provide technical risk information.
