Program Summary:

The Field Rep Development Program focuses on building skills and knowledge necessary to partner with Cat Dealers to drive strategy alignment and customer loyalty.

This is a 13-year developmental program with a customized plan to understand and learn Caterpillar machines, organizations, and values. The program includes:

1. Training (3 months): A 3-month training program to learn about Caterpillar products, services, and strategies, participate in influencing skills curriculum, build networks, and engage with dealers in the EAME region and Central Asia.

1. Rotations (1-3 years): Work in various roles within Caterpillar to learn about different initiatives and products, preparing for future field positions.

1. Exit and Role Progression: After completing the program, you will partner with Cat Dealers to drive strategy and satisfaction, supporting your transition into a Field Rep role.

Field Rep Roles Available:

• Industry Sales Representative (Building Construction Products Division)
• Technical Representative (Paving Division)
• Aftermarket Sales Representative (Resource Industries Division)
• Product Support Operations Representative (PSOR, EAME DSD)

Additional Info:

This program is open to recent graduates and industry professionals, aiming to build industry-specific skills. Post-program, employees will move into field-based or other long-term roles leading to a field position.

What You Will Do:

• Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar, its products, and customers.
• Develop personally and professionally through soft skills and technical training.
• Collaborate with experts across various departments.
• Participate in rotations to learn strategy and products.
• Manage territories and serve as a link between Cat dealers and Caterpillar.

What You Have:

Required Qualifications:

• Marketing or engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel 25%-70%
• Willingness to live abroad for up to 3 months during rotations
• Proficiency in English
• Valid passport through May 2026

Desired Skills:

Customer focus, decision-making, effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills, with specific examples provided for each.
