Field Operator - PBO will be responsible for performing operation and monitoring of equipment in the field, isolating and preparing them for maintenance activities, and normalizing them after completion, along with some basic maintenance tasks. All activities should adhere to operating procedures, HSE guidelines, and follow instructions from Control Room Operators and Shift Supervisors.
Operation and Maintenance
- Participate in plant start-up and commissioning activities, raise punch list items, and warranty claims as appropriate. Attend training sessions. Support and assist in the continuous improvement of HSSEQ policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with Control Room Operators and manage the operation of plant equipment such as turbines, pumps, compressors, valves, and filters.
- Perform regular rounds to monitor equipment condition, record operational data, and report abnormalities with required actions.
- Perform isolation/preparation and normalization of equipment for maintenance, following PTW and LOTO procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure planned maintenance activities are completed.
- Handle basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Apply and contribute to the improvement of operating procedures.
- Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Take appropriate emergency actions in coordination with Control Room Operators and Shift Supervisors.
- Undergo firefighting and emergency response training and act according to the assigned role in the Emergency Response Plan.
- Aim to minimize operational costs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Technical Certificate; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
- Proven 3-5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of power plants (excluding entry-level operators).
