Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Field Operator I to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This hands-on role requires following technical manuals and procedures to complete tasks using Weatherford equipment and systems, while upholding governance and company policies.

You will perform equipment tests, inspections, and maintenance activities with a focus on safety and quality, work long hours, and collaborate with crew members to ensure efficient operations at multiple well sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow the work schedule discipline.
• Good communication level in English (speaking and writing).
• Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and work at various well sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong commitment to Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection, prioritizing responsible care and continuous improvement.
• Adhere to Weatherford's policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Place Practices, participating in daily operations, safety meetings, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Perform functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of equipment, following specific work instructions and adhering to training and competence levels.
• Demonstrate proficiency in maintenance processes, including unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing necessary documentation.
